The official notice by ICAI clarifies that there will be no changes to the examination schedule in the event of any of the mentioned exam days coinciding with a declared Public Holiday by the Central Government, State Government, or Local Authority.

Meanwhile, the ICAI had previously announced a significant alteration to the examination structure, stating that the Foundation and Inter exams would now be held thrice a year, as opposed to the previous schedule of twice a year. Dhiraj Khandelwal, a Central Council Member (CCM) of the ICAI, welcomed this change and shared the news on the microblogging site X. He expressed, “Welcoming move by the ICAI to bring a beneficial change in favour of the CA student fraternity by introducing CA examinations thrice a year for CA Foundation and CA Inter level.
